The annual Darrell Downey Memorial Golf Classic will be held April 18th at Saticoy Regional. Attached is a copy of the entry form.
The next away tournament will be at Elkins Ranch Golf Course in Fillmore on Monday, March 2nd. A fee of $50.00 (check/cash) to be paid to Ron Laufer at least 10-days prior to the tournament. The fee will include course fee plus cart and prize money. If you wish to only play the round, the fee will be $41.00 (also paid to Ron). Sign up sheet will be available starting this Thursday (Jan. 29th) and each Thursday up to the week before the tournament.
Let’s have a good showing – course should be in great shape.
The board unanimously voted to start paying green fees (not cart fees) in 2015 for the incoming and future Tournament Chairman. I can attest that the job takes several hours a week in addition to the need to be out early for every tournament.
Congratulations to Richard Atmore for shooting his age for the second time in several weeks. Way to go Dick!
