Greetings fellow golfers,
Jack Fenelon wasn’t able to provide the score sheets for the Club Championship at this time because he had to leave for Venice. I’m not sure if that’s Venice Italy or by Santa Monica. Anyway, he gave me the names of the winners. I’ll post the entire list when he sends it to me.
The winners of the Club Championship are as follows: Club Champion (gross): Rocky Escalante. Net Champion: Von Williams. Super Seniors (gross): Rich Guzik.
Jack sent me a revised version of the regular tournament results. Apparently he placed Bob Sabedra in the “A” group when he should have been in the “B”.
The top golfers for this weeks tournament were Rock Escalante with the best gross score (77), and Gerry Agdeppa with the best net score (63). Way to go guys.
One final thing. A few weeks ago, after the tournament, the person I was riding with left this club cover in the cart. I found it when I was turning the cart in. When I returned to the parking lot, he was gone. I don’t remember who he was. If this “Face Saver” cover belongs to you, let me know. My email is: ltbescobedo@yahoo.com

Greetings fellow golfers,
Sorry it took so long to get the results posted this week. The best window for me is in the afternoon or evening after the tournament. I didn’t receive the results until 9:45 p.m., so I decided to wait until the morning. This morning the speed of my internet was down to 120 kbps which is turtle slow (a turtle with a broken leg), so I had to wait. One thing led to another, so 1:10 p.m. was the earliest I could do.
This week’s two top golfers were Rocky Escalante and Rich Guzik. Rocky had the best gross score (81) for round one of the Club Championship and the best gross score for the regular tournament. Rich had the best net score (63) for the Club Championship, the best Super Senior gross score with an 82, and the top net score for the regular tournament (63). Looks like Rich and Rocky had a pretty good day (I hope I got all the details correct). Way to go guys.

Bob Escobedo

I almost didn’t get the scores out this evening because I couldn’t access the website from my motel room in Mesquite, NV. But I finally figured it out.
The winning team of today’s scramble was the team of O’Neal, Bartelson, Sabedra and Walker. Way to go guys. Next week we’ll be having a 4-man, 2 best-ball tournament.
