CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – SEP 8, 2022

Greetings Golfers!  Today was the 2nd and final round of the Club Championship.  The low total gross champion is Pat Collins, the low total net champion is Robert Escobedo, and the low total gross super senior champion is Chris Bartelson – congratulations!!

2022 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – FINAL RESULTS

In the regular tournament the low gross was by De Ache with an 83 and the low net was by Robert Escobedo with a 61 (which explains how he won the “low net champion”) – congrats!  And, the lowest 9 holes was by Jerry Agdeppa with a 39 and he won the A-flight low net with a 66; congrats Jerry!

And one more interesting thing happened today – 8 guys won 11 skins (last week there were only 2 skins); so this week, not much $$.

Greetings Golfers!  We actually had a great turnout and fun golf today!  This was ROUND-1 of our annual (36-hole) Club Championship; plus a regular tournament.  For the championship, the first round scores for Gross, Net, and SuperSenior Gross are shown with the link below…

WEEK 1 – CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 09-01-22

For the regular tournament, today’s low gross was a tie between E. Maulhardt and P. Collins, both with 79; and the low net was by R. Escobedo with a 64!  Congrats!

RESULTS FOR 08-25-22

REMINDER! The 2-week club championship starts next Thursday, 9/1/22.  All but a couple new players are qualified, but everyone can play as it’s also a regular tournament.

Today was a 4-man scramble and the team of Maulhardt, Laufer & Williams ran away with it!  They scored a gross 6-under for a net 52!  Congrats!  2nd place was a distant net 56.

Hey Golfers! Reminder: next week is a scramble!

And – the club championship will be a two week event beginning on September 1 (finishing on September 8).

Today’s low gross score was by Mr. Ed Maulhardt with a 77; and the low net score was by Mr. John Gonzales with a 63 – Congrats!  … and there were only 2 skins today so they paid $17/ea !

Hello Golfers! Hey, who’s that guy with coach Robert?  Lots of fun today!  The low gross shooter today was new member D. Ache with an 82.  But the low gross in the tournament was E. Maulhardt with an 83, and the low net was a tie between R. Escobedo and D. Soriano, both with a 68!  Congrats to all!

… it’s getting better out there, but it was a little rough today!

BTW, I forgot to post this last week – the most bizarre coincidence was discovered.  Messrs. Carpenter and Fenelon have just realized, after having played golf together for several years now – that they both went to the same high school (in Montebello) at the same time for their last 3 years!

Hey Golfers! Wow! We saw some great rounds of golf today! Mr. Maulhardt shot a 76 (low gross), and Mr. Edwards tied him on low net, both with 62! Congrats! And an honorable mention for Mr. Youker with a low net of 64.  Todays results:
