The first round of the Club Championship will be held on Sept 13th. In addition to the regular $3.00 tournament fee, there will also be a $ 2.00 Club Championship fee. The format will be stroke-play, and for those who don’t want to enter, or who are eliminated early on, you can still come out and play in the regular weekly tournament. The winning categories are: Low gross ($ 100.00), low net ($ 100.00) and low net Super Seniors ($ 50.00). No pressure, this is only for the championship of the entire western civilization and third world countries that drink Perrier.

Also, don’t forget the Club BBQ on Friday Sept 28th at the Mountain View Golf Course in Santa Paula. The cost is $ 15.00 per person with happy hour at 5PM and dinner at 6PM. We also need items to raffle, so if you have something sitting around the house that is of little use to you, bring it (no wives please).

The winning team of this week’s four-man, two-best-ball scramble was the team of Fenelon, Sabedra, McLaughlin and Clark. Way to go guys.
