Hello Golfers!  First – Congratulations to Ron Carpenter for winning the 2022 President’s Cup!  And congrats to the 2nd place finish by David Soriano, and 3rd place by Ed Maulhardt!  Thanks to all our P-Cup competitors – it was lots of fun!

Next – I’d like to note that I’ve added a couple of documents to the “local rules” page.  One is a single sheet local rules summary that’s arranged by hole number so you can find the “fence” rules quickly.  This sheet can be printed and carried for easy reference.  Also posted is the recent (2021) new local rule regarding when a ball goes through the range fence.

Finally, congrats to today’s regular tournament low gross score player, Ed Maulhardt, with an 80, and the low net score player, John Gonzales, with a 64!

Hello Golfers!  Please see below the 1st round pairings for the SSMGC 2022 President’s Cup!  This first round of match play will be held next week, May12, at the regular time (7:30 AM).  Two versions of the document are below (links), one is a PDF and the other an HTM.  This sheet includes the player’s course-handicap, effective May 1, that will be used throughout all rounds of the Cup.  Good Luck!

Hello Golfers! Just a few notes first:
There will NOT be a member luncheon next week as shown on the schedule; we have not found a venue. But – there will be a board meeting after the round.  And – (this is preliminary pending notice from Jack) since we only had 16 members play today – all are qualified for the President’s Cup!  Today’s low gross score (by 9 strokes!) was by Ed Maulhardt with a 78; and today’s low net score was by Bob Cole with a 57! Congratulations!!
