Hello golfers! This cartoon reminded me of the course conditions today; that said, I’m glad to see that the course management continues to make improvements! But, because of today’s “winter and 2-putt pick-up” rules, we will not be posting scores to the GHIN site.
And now for the good news – today’s low gross score was (again) by Mr. Maulhardt with an 80; and the low net score was (again) by Mr. Gonzales with a 60. Way to go! Congrats!
Hello Golfers! First – take a look at the post below this for a look at our 2022 P-Cup Campions! As for today – boy it was close! The top 3 teams had net scores of 54, 55, and 56, with the team of Luna, O’Neal, Edwards, and Soriano taking the top spot! The other 3 teams came in with 58, 60, and 60, so I’d say – pretty close! Congratulations to all!

Hello Golfers! We had a nice turn-out today with 4 groups and 3 flights. The low gross score today was an 81 by Ed Maulhardt, and the lowest net score was by Chris Bartelson with a 60! Congratulations!

Next – I’d like to note that I’ve added a couple of documents to the “local rules” page. One is a single sheet local rules summary that’s arranged by hole number so you can find the “fence” rules quickly. This sheet can be printed and carried for easy reference. Also posted is the recent (2021) new local rule regarding when a ball goes through the range fence.

Hello Golfers! First, some news regarding our club President – during the most recent board meeting, Earl Clark announced that he must resign from the Board of Directors, President’s position, and from the SSMGC. Earl has been a wonderful club president and he will be missed. In accordance with the club’s by-laws, the board agreed that Jack Fenelon will assume the President’s role through the end of this calendar year.
Congrats to this week’s President’s Cup match play winners – R. Carpenter and D. Soriano. They will compete next week for the championship and 2nd place. The 3rd place match will be between E. Maulhardt and B. Cole. Good luck to all! See results below:
