Greetings fellow golfers,
Some of you may have noticed that the ambulance and Fire Department responded to the main office this morning while we were out on the course. The response was for George Rose, one of our club members. After playing a couple of holes, he began feeling too weak to continue so he decided to go home. Unfortunately he wasn’t well enough to drive himself so he went to the office where staff called 911. He was found to have low blood pressure and his hands were shaking quite a bit, so he was transported to CMH. As of this writing, we’re still not sure what caused this, but he’s in good spirits and talking normal; although he’s not up to receiving phone calls or visitors at this time. George has been a member of our club for quite some time and is one of our Super Seniors. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We’re all hoping for a speedy recovery.

The Club Championships begins next week. Nobody is required to play, but if you decide to play, it will cost an additional $ 2.00 to be paid prior to the start of the tournament. Or you can just come out and play the regular weekly tournament.
If you plan to attend the club BBQ, let Earl Clark know ASAP to that he can give Mountain View somewhat of an accurate count. We don’t want to kill anymore chickens and cows than we have to.
Today’s top golfer was Ron Laufer. He had the best gross score with a 79 and the best net score with a 62. Way to go Ron.
