Dear fellow golfers,
When Jack Fenelon sent me today’s results, he also advised me of the following: During today’s scramble, a golfer put his name on the closest-to-the-pin board on hole #14, but nobody in Jack’s foursome could read it. At the end of the tournament, John Foss, on Jack’s team, ended up with the next closest shot. He was declared the “closest-to-the-pin” winner since the other golfer couldn’t be identified. If the unidentified golfer comes forward, he will also be given the money. If he doesn’t come forward, and if someone else believes they did better than Foss, but didn’t enter their name on the board because they didn’t beat the unknown golfer, they should also come forward for the prize money. I hope this all makes sense to everyone. Jack wrote, “Sorry about the confusion, but I want to get it right.”
The winning team of today’s scramble was the team of Maulhardt, Agdeppa, Laufer and Cole. They had a 51 net. Way to go guys.
Regards,
Robert Escobedo
