Hey Golfers! Another scramble was held and (oh shock, oh surprise!) D. Ache’s team won! Congrats! And before anyone calls or emails (please don’t) about why D. Ache’s team has a higher handicap than Cole, Fenelon, Reeves, this is the USGA method for a threesome in a scramble. If it truly pains you, email me and I’ll send you the pages long calculations from Golf Genius. And besides, they won by 6 strokes so a handicap that was 5 strokes lower wouldn’t have mattered! You just need to be friendly with Steve so he’ll put you on De’s team next time!

Hey Golfers! I guess it was hot out there today, mid 90’s! But what a turnout, 21 players! The low gross was a tie at 87 with Messrs. Reeves & Colvin; and the low net was a 66 from Mr. Colvin – Congrats!

REVISED: Hey Golfers! Sorry for the late results posting, I’m out of town… I see they are sticking to the dress code at Saticoy! Thursday’s 4-man 2-best ball is a fun format that we haven’t played for a while and it’s the first time with Golf Genius, so it was a bit of a challenge. We had to use 3 blinds, which are chosen at random, but they made a difference (those darned blind guys!). The low gross was Ache (86) and the low net was Caldwell (63); and the winning team was Reeves, Charbonneau, Watson and a blind. Congrats! … and skins paid $6/ea.
